Our story
Born 4600 miles away, and 5784 hours apart, we crossed paths in Berlin in 2017. After 2011 incredible days together, living in 3 languages and 2 different countries we decided to make it a forever thing.
Welcome to our wedding website – we’re so glad you’re here and we can’t wait to celebrate with you in September!
We have put together some information ahead of the big day and hope it is helpful for your planning. On this site you’ll find information on what to expect on the day, venue directions, as well as some tips on the local area and places to stay. If you need any more information, just let us know.
And finally, thanks so much for all of your love and support so far! It means so much to us. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of our favourite people.
About the day
So, what does a Venezuelan-British wedding look like? Good question… We are looking forward to finding out!
In planning our wedding we’ve found many traditions we have in common and some which are quite different. So that we can celebrate the best of both cultures, the day will be a mix of traditions from the UK and Venezuela.

The venue is about a 10 minute taxi journey from the town of Jávea and about 5 minutes from the nearest beach Platja de L’Arenal.
There is parking available at the venue if you are driving. If you are planning to take a taxi, we have listed the numbers for some local companies below. They won’t all take pre bookings, so please do plan enough time when calling to allow for a wait. If you are staying in a hotel, they are normally happy to help with booking taxis.

Where to stay
Jávea is quite a small town on the Costa Blanca and so you won’t be far from the venue wherever you choose to stay.
The closest beach is Platja de l’Arenal which has several bars and restaurants along the beach front. The town of Jávea is just north and there are beaches here as well, along with the harbour and restaurants on the front and in the town.
If you are hiring a car and want to stay somewhere a bit further afield, there are several towns along the coastline and in the mountains nearby which are also lovely.
Both booking.com and AirBnB are good places to start for your search. As September is quite a popular time for weddings, we would recommend to look into accommodation sooner rather than later. Lots of places tend to offer free cancellation, and so if something better comes up closer to the time, you may be able to cancel and rebook.
